Privacy Policy

How we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

Last updated: 3 July 2026

1. Who we are

This website is operated by AcademiQ ("AcademiQ", "we", "us"). For the purposes of UK data protection law, we are the data controller. You can contact us at academiqforall@outlook.com or at academiqforall@outlook.com.

2. What information we collect

  • Information you give us: your name, email address, phone/WhatsApp number, and the details, documents, and data you share when requesting a quote or ordering a service.
  • Information collected automatically: IP address, device and browser information, and usage data collected through cookies and analytics (see section 7).
  • Communications: the content of messages you send us by email, contact form, or WhatsApp.

3. How and why we use it (lawful bases)

  • To provide the services you request and communicate with you about them — performance of a contract.
  • To respond to enquiries and provide quotes — legitimate interests / steps prior to a contract.
  • To improve our website and services and for analytics — legitimate interests (and consent for non-essential cookies).
  • To meet legal, accounting, and regulatory obligations — legal obligation.

4. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us operate — for example Hostinger (web hosting) and Google (Google Analytics via Google Tag Manager) — and only as needed to deliver our services, and where required by law.

5. International transfers

Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.

6. How long we keep it

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes above, including any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Project files and correspondence are retained for up to 2 years after project completion, unless you request earlier deletion.

7. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies, including Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager), to understand how visitors use the site. You can control non-essential cookies through your browser or our cookie banner. Cookie preferences can be managed through your browser settings.

8. Your rights

Under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. To exercise any right, email us at academiqforall@outlook.com. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

9. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including HTTPS encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows when it was last revised.
