Confidential, authorship-first academic support

Academic Skills Coaching

Some difficulties are not about any one subject. If you study hard but retain little, write essays that describe rather than argue, or can't find credible sources efficiently, skills coaching builds the habits that make every subject easier.

Choosing within academic skills coaching

Skills coaching is practical and based on your real workload. We look at how you currently plan, take notes, revise, read and write, then introduce a small number of changes, such as spaced retrieval practice, a weekly planning routine, argument mapping or structured database searching, and review whether they stick. Coaching uses your own course materials, but graded work stays yours: we coach the process and give feedback, we don't write assignments.

Choose study skills coaching for organization, memory and exam technique; critical thinking coaching for evaluating arguments and building your own; writing coaching for clarity, structure and academic style; and research skills coaching for finding, evaluating and managing sources.
